Man people fail when it comes to getting 6 pack abs. I am going to share with you some things that you should know that you may be doing wrong when you are working out and trying to get 6 pack abs.

First of all, you need to realize that exercise alone while trying to get six pack abs will not get you the results that you have been wanting. It takes more than that. Exercise alone will not burn the fat that is hiding your ab muscles.

In order to see your ab muscles, you need to know how to diet and how to exercise to boost your metabolism and get rid of the fat that is hiding your 6 pack. When I say diet, I don't mean any regular diet that is so common these days.

You need to stay away from diet foods that are labeled as "low carb" or "no sugar" because they are most likely loaded with are loaded with artificial sweeteners and alcohol sugars. Both of these things, among other things in diet foods, are shown to mess with your hormones and cause you to actually gain more belly fat.

The sad thing is that the diet companies know about this, but do not want people to know. Sure, eating the foods that go with diets like weight watchers and other fad diets will help you lose weight, but we are trying to get rid of belly fat and get 6 pack abs. The fad diets are not designed for that, and that is why you cannot see any results if you eat this stuff.

When it comes to ab exercises, you need to get a solid routine involving multiple supersets that go along with a diverse array of different exercises. You need to get away from the regular crunches and sit-ups because they will not get the results that you are looking for.

Instead, you need to look at things like "hip-ups", the "air bicycle", etc that will get you the most burn and the best workout. When you combine the diet and the proper exercise routine, you will get 6 pack abs.

So, how quick can you get 6 pack abs? Well, that all depends on what your current body state is at, and how much body fat you have. You need to have a low body fat index in order to see the real chiseled 6 pack ab set.

Now, if you are already used to working out and are in pretty good shape, I would say a reasonable amount of time to go from no visible muscles to having an awesome mid section would be around 9 weeks. That seems like a long time, but is really only a little over 2 months.

If you are just starting to work out, you will obviously have more body fat and it will take a little longer. The key is to stay with the proper diet and the proper routine and you will have a 6 pack in a short amount of time.
